Classroom Training – 1 x 8-hour classroom session. Learning activities will reinforce theoretical knowledge, and workplace skills will be practiced and placed into context.
Online Learning – Learners undertake a 16-hour online learning module that includes the theory components and formative assessments.
Assessment Support Sessions – Assessment support sessions will be offered to support learners in the completion of their assessments. Learners will be invited to attend either face to face sessions or online support sessions.
Role Play/ Demonstration Assessment: Following completion of the classroom training session, learners are required to return to class to complete any Role Play, Demonstration and/or Practical assessment components not covered in the classroom sessions.
Coaching Sessions – 1:1 Assessment Support sessions are scheduled, as required with up to 1 x1 hour session per learner over the duration of the course.
Self-paced Learning – Learners are encouraged to undertake 11 hours per week of self-paced learning throughout the duration of the course. This time may include classroom training, assessment support sessions (online or in the classroom), 1:1 coaching sessions, completing assessments, self-directed learning activities and self-directed research.
Workplace Observation/Third Party Report – The workplace supervisor or manager will complete a report confirming competency on specific areas within the workplace.
